Silly Man

Someone e-mailed me over this past week and their question asked if I was the African drum maker who had tested positive for anthrax. Wow. People are quite creative these days. So in response to that e-mail I would like to say sorry for the lack of posts but have some great things to publish in the coming week.
I went to the Taste of Danbury both days (boy Saturday was a success, the crowd was smaller Sunday.) What happened when Mayor Boughton was introduced on stage?
The Irish Fest was enjoyable. Always great food, great entertainment and great people.
Either that e-mail I received was a hint to get back on track with my blogging or the gentleman wanted me to discuss the Anthrax situation, (that which we all know so well already - city of Danbury and local news stations did a great job informing the public.)
So come on back. I just saw how many comments filtrated on my BIG T story (39)! That's a great number considering how new this blog is. Spread the Word!

Got Dirt?

It's sad The Taste of Danbury has turned into pathetic, ugly local political scene. Local politics are a waste of time, and they further divide the community.

I was glad to meet and greet a ton of the candidates both Republicans and Dems but I agree that a great community festival shouldn't be turned into a political playland with freakin balloons

Pudgie had a very good showing on Saturday. Coladarci did as well. Someone tell Jean Natale to get her act together if she wants to keep her seat.

Danbury has no need for partisanship. Shame on them all, we are all one people, dammit.

Boughton's lack-lustered introduction symbolized how sick people were with all the local candidates pushing their balloons and stickers on everyone.

I agree. Last year was more uplifting - we obviously didn't have the local election garbage to deal with. They should ban all the campaigning from these great events.

I saw Lamont at the Taste last year. It was almost scary to see how evil he looked in person. You could tell he's a crook by just looking into his eyes.

It is the only way to meet the people running, You can not rely on blogs as they spin mis-information.

I agree. For a great spin and a boat load of terrible negativity, go to : hatcityblog.blogspot.com.

Either that, or lobby to shut it down.

This blog and some others suffer from the same problem. Most of the blogs with "Danbury" in the name. They attack and are not an open forum. Too bad.

Is that you anon? Going around all the blogs all day, why don't you sign up to blogger? I saw you used my "DUMP mark" name in wild man's garbage of a blog, pinhead.

Yeah the local blogs do tend to put a sin on news. This blog seems to be pretty good though and that danbury politics blog isn't that partisan either.

This so far is my second favorite local blog. You really got off to a great start here.
You are fair, and you don't try to dig up dirt (no pun intended) on people to purpously defamate their character.
Kudos!
