Adios Big T

Well it's been a few weeks since I enjoyed sitting infront of my television at 9 p.m. on Friday evenings listening to nothing but immature, angry, hate speech. You all can think what you want but that is what Big T's talk and variety show consisted of and you all know it. Thanks to a local blogger, (Great Job Hat City) Big T's show was brought to Comcast's attention. Nothing against the fellow himself (Tom Bennett) but I think Danbury can offer local residents more maturity and respect when broadcasting voices and opinions. Oh and let's make sure to close our blinds at night!

Got Dirt?

you have to admit he was pretty funny

Maybe now he'll get a REAL job and he can fix those teeth.

KICK IVON OFF TOO!

At least Ivon offers all sides and view points. He has had both anti and pro immigrant groups. He has shown un-reported city issues and safety concerns that the news times cannot be bothered with. How the new voting will be this November and more. What did Big T offer? Week after week of hate and bigotry. Don’t we have enough problems? Why spread hate?
Big T, I am glad you are gone, Ivon keep up the good work. I may not always agree with you, but at least you try to show all sides.

C'Mon Ken-Ivon-both sides? That lame half baked story about Padanaram Bridge that was factual untrue? If he shows both sides were was the City Engineer? Did he mention how th City has already bonded that work to replace that bridge in 2006? No. Ivan or Ivon is a Democratic hack like yourself.

Thr funny thing is Ivon campaigns with Republicans but doesn't act like one.

Well Jim, It is you who does not have your info straight. According to your Mayor (4/07), the bridge was bonded 3 years ago and it would take the state 1 ½ years to get involved as they may pay up to 70%. According to my math, that would mean that it should have been fixed 1 ½ years ago, not just going out to bid this Sept. Also where is the Bond package that calls out the Padanaram road bridges? Why if the city knew about the bridge then why did they not do anything until I told them about it? Why did the emergency repairs noted in the video not get done until my letter and phone conversation with the mayor? Why after the show are we now having road closers for emergence bridge repairs on this road? Is it fair to the people living between these two known sub standard bridges to not have the benefit of quick fire response as we both know the Fire trucks can and will not cross these bridges. How would you feel if you lived here and your house burned down do to this situation, of worse, a family member dies do to a known city problem?
Guardrails not installed properly or repaired after an accident. I am sure the city collected from the insurance companies, why are they still not fixed? I told the Mayor himself of this in April, and they are still nothing. Where is the blunted end? It has been missing for years. Is it permissible to ignore a safety issue because we plan to fix it someday?
This is not a political party issue, but a safety issue and I would wish that people such as you would see the difference. I have been talking about this situation for more than 1 ½ years and only now is anyone listening.
As to the city engineer, did you see what we now have to contend with this winter do to the “fix” and the new water problems? Even they have come back out to look at the situation do to Ivons’ show, to re-address the water. If the city would listen for once to the people who live there, maybe things would get fix correctly the first time. There are many more points I can make, but I doubt any of this is even sinking in.
Lastly, if caring for the safety of the people of my ward is a Democrat trait, and then I guess I am, as you put it, a Democrat hack.

ken = hate city blog = the real dump mark = dump mark.

you talk to yourself. ivan is your friend.

do you even have a job? why do you bring that camera around every where you go?

Anonymous said...

Geez Ken, I didn't know you are an engineer. Seems that City's engineering department has a different story to tell. But that would not serve your need to grand stand for the 12 people that might vote for you of you are lucky...

Anonymous said...

....and you are a Ned Lamont hack.

Anonymous said...

Yeah Ken you should read the City's report on the bridges that need repair before you embarrass yourself with statements. The City has been talking about replacing that bridge ever since it did it's study back in 06' not since you called them, no one cares what you think. This is something that should have been done in 96' but your party could have cared less...

Note that ken also slanders the mayor and creates fear within the local community, hiding behind a blog on the internet. I am doing my best, fighting the good fight, to eliminate this hatred.

I suspect he is partially responsible for the nonsense on the NewstimesLive boards as well.

bye bye big t

As I know this to be a waste of time, I will attempt to set the record straight. 1) I am not hat city blog. 2) Yes I have a job. 3) My first job out of collage was structural engineering. 4) I reported the bridge problem in early Feb. 2006, that is why the weight limit sign and Mr. Buckley showed up. 5) I believe the study was after that date, but I will await the response to the FOI. 6) There is no excuse to the safety issue at this site. Once the dire nature was shown back in 2/06, then arrangements to at least temporarily fix the bridge should have been put into place. If a Fire happens between these bridges, it will be the fault of the city. 7) In 96, the bridge was not this bad, as I have been looking at it for the last 16 years.
If you doubt what I am saying, then turn off the computer, talk to those who live here and look at the situation. Hell go to the Police Station and see how many accidents happen at this location every year.
And lastly Ned Lamont is a great guy. If you ever met him, you would have never stuck with Joe. I know none of you Republicans stood up for Allen; you just threw him under the bus.
You can now go back to your partisan attacks,

ken, you were the same "personality" that wrote paragraphs... boatloads of info on the parade ordinance on the newstimeslive blog. you also praised and kissed up to ctblogger for some odd reason (what a coinkidink!).

Anonymous said...

I did meet Lamont and listened to him speak at DHS. He made me dislike him even more. He had no vision for our security and ran a one issue campaign. I was proud to support Lieberman and don't regret it. He is doing what he feels is right. A true leader who stands up for his country.

Anonymous said...

Lamont is an evil person, who uses those less fortunate for personal political gain. I am so glad this terrible individual is out of the spotlight.

Big T was funny, anyone who didn't crack up watching that fataZZ has no sense of humor.

Damn anti-American free speech restrictors.

Anonymous said...

Ivon should go next. I wouldn't let my children watch that show in fear of making them less intelligent.

Anonymous said...

Gimme a break! Ivon is fine, maybe you just don't like him personally, huh? What's there to complain about him, he does a good job. T should never have been moved. He was there forever and if you don't like him (which most dont) just dont watch him. people are so PC these days its sickning.

Anonymous said...

I've always hated that huge IDIOT but now that he's gone I feel a void (a HUGE one, haha!). Danbury just isn't the same. Who do we laugh at now?

Anonymous said...

Looks like the Republican Town Committee found another site to flood with comments.

Anonymous said...

Poor Mr. Marcus! Mr. I do not care if the neighbors are worried about their kids safety and don't want a Dunkin Donuts! Tough luck, we will work around the rules Marcus! Oh I forgot, you all like him because he helps Mr. Dunkin Donuts and Mr. Dunkin Donuts is supplying the building for the Republican Party.

Anonymous said...

You mean like you Democrats are getting your headquarters from that slum lord Joe DaSilva?

Anonymous said...

Yep, but they pay rent. I have yet to see the rent payments show up in the disclosures for Republican HQ. Is Mr D&D looking for something in return? We know he does not care about the childrens safety.

Anonymous said...

You're making it about childrens' safety but we all know you're a liar. You just don't want the D&D built in that area for personal reasons.
You should stick to spreading hate on your hate city blog, cause you're better at that.

We will fight the good fight, and do what's right until Blogger bans you for life. I have chilren that use the internet, heck we all do. They should not be subjected to your garbage. You can run but you can't hide, ctblogger.

Anonymous said...

T is harmless. Anyone who lets the guy "offend" them is spineless, or is too young for late night tv.

Anonymous said...

Meet me at TK's tonight. It's time we meet up again. I always beat you in political debate, although you never agree...

Anonymous said...

You got it, xenophobe. If I think you are who I think you are, this will be a goodie. You will be sorry for this.

Anonymous said...

Is that you "anon", going around to all the blogs trying to be hero, you big superman.

Anonymous said...

I work for BRT and my brother in law has a son working at Dunkin Donuts. Danbury is great!

Anonymous said...

I hope BRT fires you, you ctbloger lover

Anonymous said...

Keep up the good work. Mark will be happy that we are finally standing up to this fear mongering, blogging liar. I hope the courts make him take the blog down and stop hurting people.

Anonymous said...

I bet you anything this moron is behind the issues the NTL comment section has suffered over the past 15 months.

Anonymous said...

Apparently he knows who took the Oktoberfest signs. A part of me believes that because it's associated with ignorance and hatred.

Good job everyone for standing up for what's right. His new harassment of Mary and Jeff has been documented. I'm sure he will continue to dig himself a bigger hole.

Power to the peaceful, and God Bless...

Is that you Girard?

Republicans are paying a thousand a month for their HQ. Since the last campaign filing period ended on June 30th and the Republicans did not move in until August, you won't see any payments until the next filing period which ends in September. So get your facts straight. This is a little different then the Democrats giving free land to their landlord of their HQ's in exchange for a cut rate rent.

Anonymous said...

Gee, I thought some land was just given to Disilva last month. Had something to do with people dumping illegally and the city did not want to deal with it any more.
Who is in the mayor’s office at this time?

Anonymous said...

dasilva did not get free land. and DaSilva is the Democrats landlord. Dirty land that the City does not want (or should) clean is a lot different than a million dollar plus piece of land to build condo's...

Anonymous said...

Is that like telling the people that it is ok to give tax abatements because you tell the people that the land is contaminated when it is not, like Crosby st. Lets not forget the greatly reduced city hook ups!
Nice pool!

Anonymous said...

BRT tax abatements have offered more cheaper condo rentals. Another great aspect of this part of Fairfield County.

Anonymous said...

Do the math again! 3 students to a room, $6,500 -$7,000 per student for one school year. That is about $2,625 per month. Yoou could own a house for that!

Anonymous said...

No, no. Not student housing. Think about the big picture... They don't just offer housing to students. They are a big Corp!

Bring back Big T. I had nothing to due Friday night before 10PM and I was bored. WTH happened, why did he go away? He's offensive but it's damn comedy, some people need to lighten up
